Criteria for selection of schools to set up KLIC-EDC

• The school should be recognized by the bodies.
• Qualified and dedicated teachers in various disciplines with a good research & development base and industry related experience.
• Adequate space for locating cells.
• Availability of workshop, laborites and computational facilities.
• Library with a good collection of books & Journals.
• Experience in Entrepreneurship Development and promotion and industry related activities such as consultancy, product developments, testing etc.

Status of KLIC-EDC

Entrepreneurship Development Cell will be functioning with the support of KLIC. KLIC will support to conduct the many activities in our premises like-

• Will Give the technical support
• Will give the Space to conduct the Entrepreneurship activities.
• Will provide the facility of product development.
• Will support to identify and motivate budding entrepreneurs.
• To provide a database on industrial information to facilitate entrepreneurs by providing information on entrepreneurial opportunities.
• To provide the assessment of entrepreneurs in sourcing finance, identifying market, preparation of business plan and product development
• To provide the facility to conduct skill industrial development training programs with updated technologies.
• To provide need-based consultancy services to industries.
• To provide the proposed Facilitators.
