WWF india organized 4th National ECHO-summit on the theme “Green Entrepreneurship” where 70+ colleges participated out of which 5 colleges made it to the nationals by being State Winners. The winner states were Assam, Delhi, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Telengana and West Bengal.
Students of Lakshmi Narain College of Technology Bhopal, represented Madhya Pradesh in this summit and bagged the second place at national level. WWF India organised a Winner’s Meet for top teams in Hyderabad at Papyrus Port Resort from 18th to 19th January, to celebrate their win. The event was packed with activities and adventures. Our college students Aryansh Vyas, Mansi Mathur and Harsh Sharma along with Dr.Amitbodh Upadhayay, Coordinator – Quest Nature Club actively participated in all of them, they presented the rich art and culture of Madhya Pradesh with the state song during the cultural Eve and learnt Pottery as well. A plantation drive was conducted and events like bird watching, jungle saffari and snake show were also arranged for the students and professors. During the ice- breaking session Dr.Amitbodh Upadhyay out spoke his experience of 20 years with WWF India and motivated everyone to work towards sustainability. The event was made memorable with hyderabadi delicacy and Biryani. One of our student Mansi Mathur was also selected to be the ECHO representative and present the whole event to Hyderabad Press Club during the media coverage. It was a mesmerizing experience for our students to experience such an inter cultural event.
