LNCT GROUP observed National Pollution Prevention Day in commemoration of the Bhopal gas tragedy victims. The day was marked by a series of events aligned with the theme “Sustainable Development for a Clean and Healthy Planet.”
Activities included a plantation drive, essay writing, speech competitions, and group discussions across different segments of the college. Professors engaged students in discussions on pollution control methods, emphasizing personal responsibility in creating a cleaner environment.
The interactive sessions aimed to educate students about pollution’s impact, preventive measures, and fostering eco-friendly lifestyles. Understanding the significance of a clean environment, students learned the importance of active participation in environmental preservation.
Dr. Anupam Chouksey, Secretary of LNCT GROUP, emphasized the necessity of sustainable development and preserving natural resources, encouraging students to take an active role.
The event featured talented anchors—Ms. Kankshi Gupta and Ms. Aparajita Singh, while Mr. Adarsh Patel, Mr. Kushagra Mathur, Mr. Mayur Vishwakarma, and Mr. Muskan Chouksey coordinated the competitions. Winners included Mr. Shashank Chaturvedi, Nr. Ashish Jaison, Ms. Soumya Agrawal, Ajay Kumar Patel, Speech Competition, and Adarsh Mehta, Anamika Raj Patel, Astha Rajput for the Essay Competition.
