Lakshmi Narain College of Pharmacy (LNCP), Bhopal, successfully organized a one-day workshop titled “Design Thinking, Critical Thinking & Innovation Design”. This event was held on Date 20/02/2025 at F8, M.L.Schroff Seminar Hall, in association with the Institutional Innovation Council (IIC-LNCP) under IIC 7.0 calendar Quarter II activities.
The workshop commenced with welcoming of our resource person Dr. Akhilesh Barve, Professor and Convener, Rolta Incubation Centre, MANIT, Bhopal, M.P. Dr. Parul Mehta, Convener, IIC-LNCP & Director LNCP given the welcome address. She highlighted the significance of innovation and critical thinking in today’s competitive landscape.
Dr. Akhilesh Barve provided insights into the principles of design thinking, emphasizing its application in creating customer-centric solutions. He also discussed many examples from daily life regarding problem solving by design thinking and critical thinking. Student learnt how they can develop practical skills to approach innovation challenges with maintenance of emotional feasibility of product in India. Participants provided positive feedback, expressing their interest in more such workshops.
Total 16 faculty members of teaching and non-teaching with 85 students from B Pharm VI Sem students. Dr. Archana Bagre, IIC-Coordinator proposed the vote of thanks of the event.
