Earth Hour Cyclothon 2025 – A Wave of Change Unites Bhopal for Sustainability
In a powerful display of environmental awareness and community spirit, WWF, in association with LNCT Group (Quest Nature Club) and partner organizations, successfully organized the Earth Hour Cyclothon 2025 – Wave of Change on March 21, 2025. This impactful event was held under the theme “Be Water Wise”, emphasizing the importance of water conservation and sustainable living.
The cyclothon witnessed enthusiastic participation from nearly 110 cyclists, including WWF volunteers, and members of youth groups such as BBRG, GPBRA, and other local cycling communities. The initiative highlighted the collective strength of individuals united by a common cause — protecting the planet.
The event was officially flagged off by Mrs. Sangita Saxena, State Director of WWF, and Dr. Amitbodh Upadhyaya, Coordinator of Quest Nature Club, LNCT Group of Colleges, Bhopal. Their presence marked the beginning of a meaningful movement promoting climate action and eco-conscious living.
A heartfelt thank you to all partners and participants who contributed to making this event a grand success. The cyclothon not only raised awareness but also inspired many to adopt a more sustainable lifestyle.
As Earth Hour 2025 approaches, we encourage everyone to continue this momentum — switch off all non-essential lights and stand together in global solidarity for our planet.
