A ‘Gender Sensitization’ expert session was organized at Laxmi Narain College of Pharmacy, Bhopal campus on 30 April 2024 in collaboration with Action Aid Association & RAWS NGO. The session was led by Ms. Saumya Saxena – Gender lead, Action Aid Bhopal, with support from Mr. Amit Kumar Dadich, Director RAWS, and Mr. Gagandeep Singh, Project Manager Action Aid Bhopal.
Ms. Saumya delved into the complexities of Gender discrimination and emphasized the importance of gender sensitivity in society. She eloquently explained the concept of gender, explored pathways to achieving gender equality, and outlined the necessary actions for both individuals and institutions. An interactive session at the end allowed students to address their queries and concerns regarding this crucial topic.
Dr. Parul Mehta, Director LNCP, expressed gratitude to the speakers and co-speakers for their insightful session.
