Students of Lakshmi Narain College of Pharmacy, Bhopal, B.PHARM IIIrd SEM visited Sanchi Sahakari Dugdh Sangh Maryadit (Milk diary), Bhopal on 19th September 2022. The visit was co-ordinated by Mr. Ashish Chaurasia and Mrs. Neelima Mishra (Professor) LNCP, Bhopal.
Sanchi is one of the leading food/dairy brands in India. It was a great opportunity for the students to visit one of the most renowned Dairy Industries in India and acquire knowledge about the production line. During the visit, students came to know about the various processes like pasteurization, homogenization process and packaging of milk along with the manufacturing processes of various milk products like different types of Liquid Milk, Ghee, White Butter, Shrikhand, Lassi, Paneer and Curd.
It was a wonderful and interactive visit, where the students understood the production processes, products and operation. Manager briefed them about the entire plant operation process from receipt of milk at dairy dock to dispatching of milk & milk products for distribution. It was an exciting educational experience for all students as they gained practical learning from the visit.
