On August 12, 2024, Lakshmi Narain College of Pharmacy, Bhopal, marked National Anti-Ragging Day with the theme “Unite Against Ragging.” The event featured an introduction and orientation program focused on anti-ragging initiatives for B. Pharm students.
The session was led by Dr. Govind Nayak, Professor at LNCP, who raised awareness about the serious issue of ragging and emphasized the importance of unity in combating it. Dr. Nayak’s presentation highlighted the harmful effects of ragging on students and the necessity of fostering a supportive and respectful campus environment.
The orientation program included discussions on legal measures against ragging, strategies for reporting incidents, and ways to cultivate a positive and inclusive culture within the institute. The event aimed to educate students and staff on their roles in preventing ragging and ensuring a safe and welcoming academic environment for all.
