On the occasion of World Earth Day, the Quest Nature Club ( Registered with WWF) of the LNCT Group organized various programs to promote environmental protection, conservation and awareness.
Students and staff across LNCT, LNCT&S, LNCTE, MCA, Pharmacy, and MBA departments took a pledge to conserve biodiversity, save water and energy, plant trees, reduce use of single-use plastic and various forms of pollution.
The event featured a tree plantation drive, students placed bird feeders (sakore) with food and water for birds. Additionally, a poster-making competition and an extempore speech contest were held to engage the students creativity and thoughts on the environment.
Dr. Anupam Chouksey Sir , Secretary of LNCT Group, called upon everyone to make environmental conservation activities an integral part of their daily lives. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from a large number of students and faculty members.
