As part of the celebration of National Mathematics Day -2022, Department of Engineering Mathematics at LNCT&S, Bhopal (M.P) organized an event on 22nd December 2022.
Dr. A.K Sachan, Principal, LNCT&S, Bhopal (M.P) was requested to give a talk and he gently obliged. More than 80 students from the first-year participated in the event. The participation of the students was exemplary.
Dr. Amit Bodh Upadhyay, OSD, LNCT&S, Bhopal (M.P) said: Without mathematics, there’s Nothing you can do. Everything around us is Mathematics. Everything around us is Numbers. It is the most beautiful and most Powerful creation of the Human Spirit.
Dr. Ashish Khare, HOD, CSE, LNCT&S, Bhopal also gave insights on how the application of mathematics can do wonders if it is learnt well.
Dr. Sanjeet Kumar, HOD, Mathematics, LNCT&S, Bhopal welcomed all and spoke about the formation of National Mathematics Day and the indispensable part that mathematics plays nowadays. The Main Objective behind celebration of this day is to raise awareness among people about the importance of mathematics for the development of humanity.
After the talks, the event ended with formal vote of thanks by Dr. Bhupendra Tripathi and Mrs. Deepika Basedia.
