On the occasion of World Pharmacist Day, Lakshmi Narain College of Pharmacy, Bhopal, organized a free one-day eye-health check-up camp at LNCP premises on September 27, 2023, Wednesday. This initiative was conducted in collaboration with Seva Sadan Eye Hospital, Aarambh Education and Community Development Society, and their MoU partner, Rising Aryavarta Welfare Society.
The camp was led by Mr. Rahi Nema, Senior Optometrist, who was supported by three other eye specialists dedicated to the noble cause of providing free eye check-ups to all. These specialists included Mr. Vikas Lodhi (Optometrist), Mr. Rohit Bunkar (Assistant), and Mr. Faizan Ali (Assistant).
The camp was well-equipped with all the necessary gear, aids, and facilities required for comprehensive eye examinations. It witnessed significant attendance from students and faculty members of the LNCT group, all of whom greatly benefited from this health camp.
The event was graced by the presence of Dr. Ashok Kumar Rai, Director of Administration, and Dr. Amitbodh Upadhyay, OSD, LNCTS. The camp concluded with Dr. Parul Mehta, Director of LNCP, presenting the eye specialists with tokens of appreciation for their exceptional service.
The coordination of the camp was overseen by Mrs. Neelima Mishra Upadhyay, Mr. Shivanand Singh (Community Organizer, Aarambh), and Mr. Neeraj Ucholiya, Program Coordinator, RAWS. This collaborative effort aimed to make eye check-ups accessible and contribute to the well-being of the community.
