On the Occassion of Innovation Day on 16th february,2024 , Institution Innovation Council cell of Lakshmi Narain College of Pharmacy, Bhopal conducted an online session on topic “The Need of Innovation and Skill Development”. The Expert Speaker for the session was Mr. Hardeep Puri, Founder- Learn to Upgrade, CoFounder- MakeIntern gave an emphasis on the current era which is completely dependant on the skills of an individual. Without any skill the recruitment process faced by the job seeker can be a great hurdle. Therefore students should involve a big part of their education in investment in skill development. Along with that he also explained about different aspects involved in the journey of Innovation.
Mr. Puri suggested some latest skill courses that are available and beneficial for a pharmacy graduate in the future such as Computer Aided Drug design, Artificial Intelligence in Pharma sector, Clinical data management etc.
Students were keen to know more about these courses and agreed to get certified in atleast one course during their 4 year tenure.
Dr. Parul Mehta, Director, LNCP showed her gratitude to the speaker for the wonderful lecture as well as students for their patience during the session.
